[calc] How PRNT Grid Lns?

HP/PENTIUM-WIN 10
QUESTION: I HAD TRIED TO PRINT WITH CELLS GRIDS ACTIVATED WITH MY SPREADSHEET.
Nothing. How to CELL Lns?

You have to draw the cell borders that you want.

  1. Select the cells that you want borders. If you want the entire sheet, select the cell to the upper left of the sheet where the row and column labels intersect.
  2. Select the menu Format/Cells. The Format Cells popup appears.
  3. Select the Borders tab.
  4. Choose the borders you want from either the presets or user-defined.
  5. Choose line width, color, style, padding.
  6. Click OK, and the borders will be drawn in the selected cells.

You can use ctrl-1 as a keyboard shortcut to open the Format Cells popup, and you can add a Borders button to your Toolbars.

Caveats:

  1. You have to open up the Format Cells popup for each set of cells that you want to change. There is no “Apply” button, and you cannot change your cell selection when the Format Cells popup is open.
  2. If two adjacent cells share a border, it’s not clear which one takes priority. Both formats appear to be stored, so clearing one appears to leave the other one intact.

Printing grid lines is a different thing than setting borders. To print grid lines you need to Format -> Page -> Tab: Sheet -> Category: Print -> Option: [x] Grid
