[Using LO 6.3.4.2 via Flatpak on Linux Mint 19.3]
Don’t know what changed, but starting this morning, every time I make a change to a cell it’s now outlined in a red box, almost like a comment, which shows when/what changed. How do I turn this off?
You switched on change tracking; to switch off menu Edit → Track Changes → Record.
