How to set distance between bullets and text in impress?

Hi all,
I’m sure that this is a stupid question, but I do not find in impress how to set distance between bullets and text.

I’m able to do in writer, but not in impress.

I’m using 4.1.1.2

Thank you

I can’t find it under the “Styles” setting, but if you…

  1. Right-click on the bulleted text you want to adjust
  2. Select Bullets and Numbering... from the pop-up menu
  3. Select the Position tab from that window
  4. Set the desired value in the “Width of numbering” field

…that should do it.

Too bad there doesn’t seem to be a way to adjust this setting as a “Style” though – or is there? It would be tedious to have to make the changes locally every time.

Hi, this is still a problem and unfortunately your answer doesn’t seem to do it (not for me at least, using 4.* something on Debian Jessie). The ‘preview’ when altering the width of numbering as you suggested shows it editing the indent for lines below the first, bulleted one, but not for bulleted lines. Unfortunately…

Well OK, having looked further if you set it for different levels specifically, using a combination of the different options on the position tab and playing around with it you might be able to achieve this effect, but it doesn’t seem to be consistent!
