Toolbars - can Writer defaults be set so that none open?

Hello… if anyone can help with this I’d be very appreciative! Is it possible to set the defaults in LibreOffice Writer so that no toolbars automatically open when the program is opened? I have looked everywhere but cannot find how to do this; currently I have to manually close every toolbar each time I open the program. Thanks in advance if you can help! Lindsey

Mmmh, I can confirm leaving a toolbar open and closing LibreOffice afterwards will result in an opened toolbar if you start LibreOffice again. But when you properly close it before exit, next time there is no toolbar when reopen LibreOffice. (Did try some tests with search toolbar).

There is as far I know not such a ‘feature’ that’ll automatically close every toolbar at exit. I think this is also because of ‘work environment’. I think it’ll be a great feature to create ‘own workspaces’ such as ‘remember which toolbar is opened and where it’s docked by default’.

Maybe you can fill this feature/enhancement request in at our Bug Submission Assistent: https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/ .

kind regards,
Joren
