Calc chart data range input help

I would like to use the isodd() function in the chart data range input field to replace say “$Chart.$D$32:$D$500”. There must be a way to pick out data ranges by odd or even rows?

AFAIK no way to use function/forrmulas in chart data ranges. Prepare your data ranges accordingly
