How do you split one table into two?

I have two tables that are stuck together and I need to separate them so there is a blank row between them?

Hello,

Case 1 - Split a single table

Use Table -> Split Table,if you really have one table to be split.

Case 2 - Insert an empty paragraph to tables glued together
If you have 2 table just looking like one (no empty paragraph between 'em),

  • View -> [x] Formatting Marks
  • Move cursor at the beginning of the first cell of the second table
  • Press Enter (inserts an empty paragraph between the tables)

Hope that helps.

Beautiful! Just what I needed.
For some reason, I had never seen the Split Table command on the Table menu before!
Thank you.
