How to unhide rows

I have a huge spreadsheet and want to delete info from years past that is no longer needed. Unfortunately. the program shows only how to HIDE rows, but not how to UNHIDE rows already hidden so that I can view and then delete them.

Thank you.

Hello

It’s called Show Rows and not Unhide Rows - Select rows (one before and one after hidden rows) and Right click -> Show Rows (selecting the whole sheet also works – and/or – use Format -> Rows... -> Show)

Hope that helps.

Update: Unhide Row 1

Double click the lower border of grey intersection of header and and header 2 of row 2. Watch the cursor change!

THANK YOU!! Appreciate it. I’m so used to using EXCEL that I never even noticed it. Thanks again, Opaque!

Also you can go to a hidden cell using the address box, and then unhide by menu.

This solution does not work for me if the 1st row has been hidden.(Calc version 7.0.4.2) I have no solution if this is the case. Anyone have a solution to unhide row 1?

This answer doesn’t work for any question, since it is not an answer. For one (!) solution to unhide row 1 see update to my answer.
