Imported date not converting the time right.

I import weather data from an Acurite weather station. Dates include a time value. The midnight date I import is 12:00 AM which Libre converts to 12 pm (not correct). It reverts to am an hour later at 1 am. The same thing happens at 12 noon. The 12:00 PM date I import converts to 12 PM in Libre (which is correct), but at 1 pm it reverts to AM, which is not correct. It’s like it ignores the AM/PM and just makes every 12:00 a PM time, and goes from there.
Here’s an example:
“2/15/2020 12:00:00 AM” converts to 02/15/2020 12:00 PM in Libre
“2/15/2020 1:00:00 PM” converts to 02/15/2020 01:00 AM in Libre
cell format is MM/DD/YY HH:MM AM/PM

I can import as a text and it looks right, but it won’t sort right.
Any help is most appreciated. This is driving me nuts.

It’s sad that data from a weather station could have date/time information in “M/DD/YY H:MM:SS AM/PM” format in this day, where at least some people have already learned about ISO 8601. But however, you need to file a bug report on this.

How is data imported? Via serial link, USB, Bluetooth? What does the station send: plain ASCII, binary data converted to text by some utility? Are the spaces between the fields real spaces or some other character?
