Does digital signatures work in Version 3.6.2.2 (Build ID: 360m1(Build:2))

I am running under Ubuntu 12.10 and version 3.6.2.2 (Build ID: 360m1(Build:2)). I have every trick that I could come up with to digitally sign my document, but to avail. I have even created my own self signed certificate, and it does not even give me an option to find my pem file.

So what is the trick or is just not working in this version?

Don’t know if this is working in 3.6.x (it probably should there is no info about something new in post 3.6.x) - I am currently using 4.0.x and from File | Digital Signatures I can select certificate and sign document. Details: About Digital Signatures - LibreOffice Help

By the way If you would like to to install LibreOffice 4.0 on Ubuntu 12.04 you can do it from terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-4-0
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

or latest and the greatest 4.1.x (also less stable as 4.0.x):

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-4-1
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
