Writer crashes when I copy and paste from one doc to another

Using LibreOffice 6.2.8.2 for Windows 64

some more details please, with 6.2.8.2 on win7(x64) copying ‘123’ from one doc (ctrl-c) and pasting into another (ctrl-v) works fine.
