I’m syncing documents with google drive and want LibreOffice Writer to stop generating lock files every time I open a document because they fill up my deleted list with junk, and I’m the only person ever accessing them so I don’t need locking. This solution How to disable lock file? explains how to disable file locking in general, but the instructions don’t seem to be valid for Windows. I’m specifically using Windows 7, how can I disable file locking?
Does anyone know how to stop LibreOffice from a Windows 7 machine?
