What laptops and tablets are in common that can dowload LibreOffice? Is it true that not every tablet is an android? Can iPads download LibreOffice? I am specifically looking to buy a tablet to use for typing purposes (it's easier to travel around with for me) and I hope I'm able to download LibreOffice onto it? If you could give me some examples, that would be very helpful. I'm not very knowledgeable on technology, so any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Regards, M.

Most laptops can run LibreOffice. The exceptions these days will be Chromebook and Android netbooks.

Some tablets are basically the same as laptops, i.e. they have x86 architecture (Intel or AMD non-ARM CPU) and can run normal MS Windows and/or Linux, this should be able to run LibreOffice as well.

LibreOffice for Android is still in development, as per wiki page "LibreOffice on Android" and the question "Is LibreOffice 4 available for Android?". If you can help in any way I am pretty sure they will appreciate.
