How to add standard fonts in Control properties of a Text box in Writer?

Hi there,
I am creating fillable PDFs with LibreOffice Writer 6.3.5.2 in Ubuntu 19.10. Some of the people receiving my pdfs open them with Adobe Reader in Windows and they get a message saying that the “Ubuntu” font is not supported so they can not read what they type in the text box.

I know where to change the font of the text box (right-click, Control properties) but I don’t have the option of choosing, for example, Arial, which is the font of the rest of the document. It seems that none of the fonts available are supported when you open them with Adobe Reader (I didn’t try all).

Any idea of how can I solve this problem? Thank you in advance.

José

With me I can choose!

With me Windows 10 Home; Version 1909; 64-Bit | LibreOffice, Version: 6.4.2.2 (x64).

Thanks, ebot.

In Ubuntu I can’t. I installed the Microsoft fonts and selected Times New Roman as the font in the system (thinking that might be a problem of the system) but I still can not choose Arial or Times New Roman, for example.

I hope someone who knows specific Ubuntu will get in touch.
