Install Problem

Hi, I had an earlier version of Libre Office (I think it was something like 6.4.1.2, or similar - installed within the last couple of months, with no hassles) installed on my HP all-in-one desktop running W10, and was using Draw when a notification that there was an update to 6.4.2 available. So I took it, and downloaded the .msi file. Part way through the install a message came up about not having the rights to install some part of the app, so I back-tracked, and found a way to install via the admin level command line - it seems to have installed but now I can't get into the folder to access the .exe file to run the program, and I can't delete the program folder, and can't uninstall it. And it's not showing up as installed in the Control Panel. And the folder is showing 0 bytes, and 0 files!! It's saying that I don't have administrator permission to install, or access the folder! I have the 2019 MS Office Home and Student installed on the computer - could this have caused the malfunction? Any other options to delete the new version, and get back to the old version of Libre Office, which was running fine. Thanks, Richard.

I have a similar problem with "dead" folders in Windows 10.

I can only offer you a general problem solution here.

Take a look at it. Ah, see @Mike Kaganski's comment.

In very tough cases, you won't be able to avoid using a cleanup tool.
