How to import fields from Calc to Writer?

My girlfriend for a school project has to make an MLA citation of every book by an author (busy work, if you ask me). We made a spreadsheet with columns such as “Title”, “Publisher”, “City”, and “Year”. We would like to be able to put them into Writer in such a way:

Name, of Author. TITLE. PUBLISHER: CITY, YEAR.

How can we import that data into a Writer document?
