Hi, can some one please let me know how the install from the repository???

I have tried many a time, but it has never been totally successful. I need all the parts of LO, along with the help and most importantly the spelling checker.

I prefer to use the apt command line or Synaptic package manager GUI

Thanks

Martin

Mint uses the same repository as Ubuntu (they're the same backend) - I recommend on reading up on how to do this here: http://askubuntu.com/questions/252612/how-do-i-install-libreoffice-4

Thanks loads, about to give a try Martin

Good that LO is back but after doing

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-4-0

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

sudo apt-get install libreoffice

the spelling check fails to find badly spelled words, and the dictionary is not full of junk

Martin

Update a few days later, all returned to working well Thanks
