remove number plate from a picture

I want to show a photo on facebook but hide a number plate

Put a polygon on the number plate to cover it, select image and polygon and export as a raster graphics.

Better use a dedicated app for images like GIMP.

Use GIMP to blue or rasterize the part of the image you do not want revealed.

Using GIMP, but Photoshop or other s/w will do
