Draw: How to change the orientation of a single page to Landscape and leaving the other pages to Portrait?

LibreOffice Draw 6.4.3.2: How do i change the orientation of a single page inside a Draw document to Landscape while at the same time leaving the other pages to Portrait? Whenever i go to Page/Properties and select Landscape all pages are changed to Landscape.

Unless I make a wrong usage of Draw, I consider Draw as a scratchpad where I keep a collection of drawings and pictures to be copied and pasted in other components of the suite (mainly Writer). I then have all the power of Draw for designing my schemas, figures, … and the power of Writer, Calc or Impress to format and lay out the final document.

Then it does not matter if Draw is portrait or landscape as long as my drawings can be stored in a page (usually several per page).

You may find it overkill for simple tasks but, in the end, it simplifies your life.

I often need to add text to an existing pdf document (for example in an application form) and LibreOffice opens Draw to do that. I guess you can do that in Writer but you need first to convert the pdf to individual images, add them to Writer, edit your document and then export it to a new pdf.

Writer won’t do that. To fill-in an application form, if it is really a PDF form (FDF format), use a PDF viewer.

When I need to “patch” a PDF document, I use GIMP.

Draw and Impress cannot use different page sizes in one document.

Thank you, i hope there is a fix soon.

In Draw it’s not possible:

Bug 49787 - Formatting: Allow different slide / page styles (orientation, size) in a single Drawing document

Thank you. I hope there is a fix soon.

Well, this is like the most massive disappointment ever.

I migrated from Open Office to Libre Office believing it to be an improvement and now I cannot help but feel I have taken a massive step backward.

Who thought it would be a great idea for a PDF editor to be able to only display all pages in either portrait or landscape, but not a mix of the two.

I might have to go back to Open Office.
