Help on Footer/headers in writer [closed]

I wanted to add footer/header in writer, likewise in MSWord. Is there any system defined formats? if there any how to retrieve Pls shed light on the same

Headers/footers are slightly different in LibO Writer than MS Word -- especially more recent versions of Word.

The best thing to do is review the documentation on header/footer creation and formatting. I think that covers most aspects.

You can define styles for headers/footers from Format > Styles & Formatting (F11) then choose the Paragraph icon () and modify the "Header [Left|Right]" and/or "Footer [Left|Right]" styles.

I'm not sure about downloading pre-existing styles, but you could check the Libreoffice Templates site for templates that suit your work.
