Adjust image gradient transparency independently

Hi Guys ,

I’ve been trying to work this out for hours . I’m a relative newbie to libre draw . So I began designing a poster . I added a image and then >> right click on image >> edit style .I then modified transparency/gradient ,click ok and the image was modified as intended .

Now lI added another image and if I change it doing the above it only changers the first image (with no undo!) .
BUT,if I add a another image and then right click image on that image and select area / transparency . Nothing happens .

totally confused by this software
Puzzled

Can someone please! give me step by step instructions how I can add one image and adjust it’s gradient transparency and than add another image and adjust it’s gradient transparency independently .

I think the issue is that your are editing the style what affects to all graphics using this style, if you only want to change the transparency for one image, right-click and select area.

Please take a look to the documentation to find how to use styles, would be very useful.

Thanks for the help . And yes I will certainly read up on that link when I have the time .

But when I select any image and right-click and select area, then alter the transparency or gradient setting, click ok, nothing happens .
Though i can add shadows etc to the picture .
