hello @icefront,
[edit] ------------
the comment from @Opaque is! important:
yes, there are plenty reports that using 'clipboard managers' is conflicting with LO,
often mentioned and failing is 'mutter' on linux systems, and tests by me and @Teleto showed that using 'insideclipboard' within windows brings the errors from 'sometimes' to 'very often',
i can't tell for mutter, for insideclipboard i'd judge that it's more likely insideclipboard bringing LO weaknesses to the surface than being buggy itself (as other applications work flawless with or without insideclipboard), that's not proven clue but my personal impression,
thanks @Opaque,
[/edit] ------------
don't worry, you are in good company, there are hundrets of reports and filed bugs about dozens of flavours of copy/paste misbehaviour in LO ...
(it is useless to ask users for individual receipts or specific confirmation / circumstances when you have realized this)
most of the flavours have workarounds like first pasting in another application (e.g. notepad) and then copying from there or retry copying or similar, but not all,
the big problem with this: most of the errors occur only sporadically, and are therefore 'not reproducible', and such a thing is 'difficult' for the developers,
the good news: it should/could have changed something to version 7.1 ... not sure because nobody knows where and what the improvement has brought (just like before nobody knew what, why and when it didn't work), but as far as I have seen there are at least much less bugs ...
:-)
'old version that works' - reports go back to 2011, short check shows similar complaints for apache OpenOffice, thus not a viable solution,
hope: comment from Timur:
download - experimental! - dev-version: LibreOffice dev versions:
best regards,
b.
Please provide a reference to the bug reports.
Which operating system are you using (the description sounds like the known bug of clipboard manager mutter)?
