I downloaded 6.44 (previous version was 6.33.2), but all my old files still show 6.33 in the “about” tab. Do the old files remain as 6.33, and only new ones are 6.44?
What is “6.44”? Do you think that correctly typing what the program tells you looks less cool?
It does not depend on file loaded, but maybe you have the two versions (btw it’s 6.3.3.2 and 6.4.4.x) somehow installed in parallel (or one as user and one as admin) and instructed your OS (assuming Windows, you didn’t tell) to open existing files with the old version.
in hope this hint is not too silly - and thus allowed - it’s mostly not sufficient downloading a file / new version, additionally ‘installing’ it could work better,
