White triangles throughout UI after updating to 7.x.

I use LibreOffice under Windows 7 32-bit, dark-themed. I’ve changed LO UI colors to make it as dark-themed as possible. After updating to LO 7.x white triangles have showed up throughout the office’s apps (screenshot here)…

Looks a bit like space invaders neat.
But jockes aside,
Is your OpenCL support disabled? See. Tools > Options > Libreoffice > OpenCL

It is disabled. I’ve tried to enable it (“allow to use OpenGL”), but it always remains unchecked, even if I’ve checked and applied it. (7.0.1)

Having is disabled is the way to go. So everything fine there.

When you revert your theme changes, does there display bug persist? Or is it gone?

Do You mean to revert LO theme or WIndows 7 theme?

Triangles are displayed only while using custom Windows 7 dark theme. If I revert Windows 7 theme to the original one - LO stays light-themed, even if I choose LO dark theme.

But the issue has not appeared before LO 7.x.

So you think it has nothing todo with the theme change, only with the version update?

Then i would suggest, you try restarting in “Safe Mode” (see. Menu “Help”) maybe the update somehow broke something. Report Back, if the triangle bug persists when you run in “Safe Mode”.

We’ll continue from there.

Now it looks like this - so there are less triangles, black and white this time.

Yes, it definitely seems that it has nothing to do with the theme change.

Less Triangles … doesnt sound so good.
If Safe Mode does not fix it, that would mean its not profile folder related.

Next could you try to running the portable LO version (no instalation needed)
and check if the same problem accures with that.

You can download the portable 7.0.1 version from here:

https://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/portable/7.0.1/LibreOfficePortable_7.0.1_MultilingualStandard.paf.exe

Let’s see where that takes us.

I think @iglorius meant have you tried turning off Skia, Tools > Options > Libreoffice >View and untick the box “Use Skia for all rendering”. Cheers, Al

Yeah, my bad. i meant this.

@igorlius
Triangles are present within a portable version as well.

@EarnestAl
I’ve disabled Skia - to no avail.
