.docx files are opening in Libre Office Draw instead of LO Writer.
I tried opening Libre Office Writer first and then opening that .docx file through ‘open’ option in menu. But it is still opening in Draw.
As usual, edit your question to mention OS name and LO version.
How did you create the .docx? Are you sure the file extension is relevant? It might have been changed or added afterwards. LO does not use extensions to launch the component to handle the file. If a text document opens in Draw, it is likely PDF.

Maybe Windows File Association got messed up. You could try reassignin the docx extensions to your desired programms.
