I select a range, click sort, get the message “Ranges containing merged cells can only be sorted without formats” and nothing happens. What should I do?
If unmerging the cells is not an option?
Could you upload/attach an example or explain a bit better what you are trying to sort and how. Thanks.
you may want to change to the tab ‘options’ in the sort dialog and uncheck ‘include formats’,
