When inserting a printscreen with Ctrl+V in Writer, cannot click below, the cursor is always above the inserted pic.
You want the cursor to be positioned below the inserted image so you can paste the next image without having to reposition the cursor? Is that correct?
Right click on each image and select Anchor > As character
, press Enter to go past image. Pictures are definitely under control with this option but might not give you flexibility in your document. Cut and paste to move or change anchoring options later
Thank you @EarnestAl, the thing is for me, when Anchor is set to “as character” and then I press Enter, an additional row is inserted above the image, I cannot reach below the pic…
Right Arrow key then Enter, or click after the picture and Enter. The picture is effectively a character now so the end of the paragraph is after the picture. Turn on View > Formatting marks (or Ctrl+F10) to see.
Alternatively, you could put each in a table cell. Depends on how you want to use them.
Hello,
i know this is not exactly what you asked for, but the quickest way i found to import multiple images
was by using this extension
https://extensions.libreoffice.org/en/extensions/show/addpics
Unfortunatly it does not import the images into an existing document, but creates new one from a selected folder.
(You should be able to copy them all into any another document from there on out. )
But if you save you images all in one folder and name them in a numeric way (e.g. 1, 2 , 3 … ) that is a quick way to get them all into one Document in the correct order.
I will also loook if i can write a macro that can help you, but i am not sure when i get the time for that.
In the meantime,
I hope this helps (at least a little bit)
