Calc UI sort entries in taskbar pop-up

hi @all,

silly question, probably i’m just not used to the wording, didn’t instantly find something on the web …

normally i have some calc files open and my ‘workflow’ steps from one to the next, in the order i opened them, which is the sequence they are shown in the popup from the taskbar icon, that’s fine,

but sometimes when i close files, save them with new name, have to open new ones etc. the ordering changes, and I am missing a possibility to arrange the files again in a meaningful order,

is there any trick to do it?

any help appreciated …

You want to rearrange the recently used files?

Sounds like an OS issue. For Windows something like Taskbar Tweaker is supposed to do that I think.

Never tried it; I just open things in the order that I want. I like having the windows I’m editing on the right and the icons on the right too; I open the reference files first so they end up on the left. Cheers, Al

@igorlius: no, but the ‘grouped’ items, ‘thumbnails’, on the taskbar, for the ‘recents’ - which change too often - it would be nice to have an option to show them alphabetically sorted,
@Earnest AL: thanks, on a first glance taskbar tweaker doe’s exactly what i want, trying 5.9.1 from authors site, not 5.7 sometimes on other sites, options [thumbnails - drag to reorder], pls. make your comment an answer

it works

I might have used it for Windows 7 now that I think about it
