Help File Download

I’ve just successfully downloaded LibreOffice 6.4.6 directly from the LibreOffice website. Language is English (US). Immediately below the link to download the software is a link titled “Help For Offline Use: English (US).” Clicking on that link results in nothing happening. Any suggestions?

By posting multiple times, you confuse contributors who don’t know to which instance to answer.

This is a general (=common) question, so, please again, retag your question to remove writer which, as Writer is a component of LO, is implied in tag common.

Be aware that each time I tried to post the question I got an error message saying a certain number of tags needed to be entered into a Tag field. I was simply following the directions. Not my fault if the system was posting my question multiple times.

How about an answer to my question.

To get a relevant answer, edit your question to mention the name of the OS because instructions depend heavily on the OS. That said, I have absolutely no experience with Windows in case this is your OS.

Assuming your OS is Windows 64-bit, the download link works perfectly fine for me… however, this is the download and in case the mirror picked is non-functional there’s the mirror list under Info. If your OS is something else than Windows 64-bit then pick that first if the download page doesn’t recognize it because your browser doesn’t tell.

Thanks. I am using Windows 10 and still get absolutely nothing when clicking the link to download the help file. However, at your suggestion, I clicked the “Info” link to find other mirrors. The first mirror I tried works just fine and the help file is now safely downloaded. Again, thanks.

Glad to help. Then please mark the answer as correct by clicking the check mark icon. Thanks.
