How to change wont to won't

Hello i have Lo 4.1 and i dont know how to change wont to won’t automatically because lo thinks wont is a correct word and doesnt have any red lines under.
thnx

You can use find & replace function in LO writer

edit → find & replace

There You can put “wont” in find and “won’t” in replace box. and click replace all (u can also go 1 by 1 and replace only chosen content, others skip)

I dont want to do find and replace. I know grammatically speaking wont is a word but when typing people want to type won’t but because of the apostraphe we just type wont pls help this is not useful as time consuming even gdocs can do this

So You want it replace automatically, when You type?

Yes exactly

There are two possible options.

I.

You can use Replace in the menu Tools → AutoCorrect Options… → Replace.

Replace: wont

With: won’t

An example with screenshot: here.

II.

You can create a user-defined exception dictionary:

Specifies whether you wish to avoid certain words in your documents. In this way, you can create a custom dictionary of all the words to be avoided. If this exception dictionary is activated, during spellchecking you receive a corresponding note about any words which should be avoided.

Word: wont

Replace By: won’t

Examples with screenshots: here, here, and here.

I did the first one but it didnt work

From the link “Replace” in my answer above:

“When in Writer: To enable the replacement table, choose [menu] Tools - AutoCorrect Options, click the Options tab, and then select Use replacement table. To use the replacement table while you type, choose [menu] Format - AutoCorrect - While Typing.”

Also I am not a native speaker of English I not sure what you mean with your question. But may I suggest you have a look at
