I'm getting two error windows when I load or start a document.

I did something wrong while trying to correct a save/save as problem a few weeks ago. Got the save problem solved ying (thanks, Al) but now when I open a new doc in Writer or Calc (haven’t tried other modules), I get these two error messages: First is:

Error loading BASIC of document file:///C:/Users/Morris/AppData/Roaming/LibreOffice/4/user/basic/Standard/script.xlb/:
General Error.
General input/output error.

Second is:

Error loading BASIC of document file:///C:/Users/Morris/AppData/Roaming/LibreOffice/4/user/basic/Standard/dialog.xlb/:
General Error.
General input/output error.

I can get out of both windows with no apparent harm to my file, but it’s aggravating. Can’t recall what keystrokes I used to cause these error messages to appear. Any help will be much apprecaited, just so I don’t have to worry any more.

The directory you specify is the so-called user directory.

This directory may be defective under certain circumstances.

You can check this by selecting Help|Safe Mode in the menu.

https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/en-US/text/shared/01/profile_safe_mode.html

If the error no longer exists, you have to reset your user directory. You can also do this in the menu|Safe Mode, or simply give the directory a different name, then a new user directory is created.
