Document Title in Header

I have a document that I created and mistakenly saved it as a MS .docx type which really messed up formatting. I have created a new file of type .odt.

In my previous document I had the book title of what I thought was paragraph type Title (but when I select the paragraph it shows as Default) BUT the document title does show in my header as a field> Document:Title

My new .odt file is not showing the document title which I selected and put as paragraph type Title in the left page header.

I’m attaching both files.

The corrupted document:
test A Guide for Listening and Inner-Healing-copy for upload.odt

The new from scratch .odt file:
A Guide for Listening and Inner-Healing ODT.odt

Does anyone see why the document title isn’t showing in the left page header?

Also, is the second file clean of any .docx junk?

Field “document title” takes its input from File>Properties, Description tab.

Paragraph styles are not relevant here. A book can have only one title while you can format several paragraphs with style Title. If the field considered paragraphs, which one should it retain?
