Multiple Sub Reports

I’m converting a database for the members of my guild at the Renaissance Faire from Access to LibreOffice. I’ve recreated the form I use to input and change data, but I’m having trouble with the pre-printed guild application (form) for returning members. Printing one page per member is no problem, but as some members have more than one phone number or email address, I would like to list the single fields, like name , address, etc., and then list the email addresses and phone numbers for that member.

I’m just having a real hard time trying to figure out how to do this.

Ideas?

Hello,

Unfortunately Report builder is lacking many functions. Although it may not be the easiest method, you can create a query with different identities (say a record type) and make a determination of what is to be printed based upon that type.

Hopefully this may help. In this post Libre Data - multi-level report there is a sample report which should give you some insight into this. The report is based upon a query which contains multiple record types. In report builder, fields are checked to determine the record type and then based on the record type will determine what is to be printed.

Some of the fields in the report record header & in the detail have IF conditions in the data field. This is what may be of interest to you.

Your report would have a header for the member & another header for the record type.

Thanks!

I’ll look into it.
