Can I print the doc's pathname on the 1st-page this way

I want to have the filename of the document on the first page of the document when printed.

But, I don’t JUST WANT THE FILENAME in a header/footer space. INSTEAD, I want the file’s pathname to:

1. show/print on the first page
2. in a size 8 font
3. vertical such that if you turn the page sideways, you could read the pathname

This is NOT a desktop publishing effort. This just understanding (I believe) how this can be done in LibreOffice

Can anyone in the forum steer me in the right direction?
Does anyone have a reference document or template they can make available?

Open saved document, point the cursor to where you want filename to appear on the first page and add it:
Insert → Fields → Other → Document → File name and from the Format box choose File name or File name without extension

Next set font size and orientation like this:

1. right-click added field and select
   Character
2. in the Font tab set Size to
   8
3. open Position tab and set
   Rotation / scaling to 90 or 270 degrees, depending on which direction you
   want

Note…if record = on and you change the file name (save as something else), the field will change but there will not be any indication via change colors et al that the field changed. This started circa 3.5.2 Before that, such changes to fields would be recorded via change colors et al so reader would know its a new copy.

Only work around I found is to manual delete and reinsert fields with every new edition

Brings to mind a paraphrase of an old joke “what is the difference between Word and LO? One is buggy, messy, quirky, etc…the other is from MS”
