Many moons ago (I think on an OO forum) I asked if there was a way to close the LibreOffice (Calc) ods using a macro triggered by a Dialog button inside the programme as with VBA. I recall the answer was ‘no’ but it was a good idea.
Extensive Googling has not produced such. Was any progress made?
Whatever I try I am confronted by the inability to close it while ‘Basic is running’.

If you have not reported it here → Bugzilla, it is highly likely the status will not change. If you have reported it, then looking at that item will tell you if there is any progress.
Yes, I know. I did say it was “Many moons ago (I think on an OO forum)” and I think it was one of the more useful responders, rory, Johnsun, andrew, zizi or whoever who said it would be a good feature so I assumed someone would have looked at it but I can find no trace. I assume from your reply you have no idea?.
Do monitor Bugzilla regularly. Have not seen this item. Do recall some of the original banter on AOO.
