Saving formatted report in base

After creating a table, form and report I open report and edit it to remove header & footer and align the columns. I then save. And I save the db when exiting. When I reopen report it back to the same unformatted report I started with. What am I doing wrong?

Have not seen anything of this type of problem.

You may want to try resetting your user profile. see → LibreOffice user profile

If still a problem it may be a bug. There is a similar open item → tdf#88254 but it is old and unconfirmed. You could either add to it or create a new item. If you do create a new item, others may be helped if you post the reported items in a comment here.

Read what I was doing wrong on web. I wasn’t editing the report when saving I was just editing the view. When I r/clicked the report>edit made changes and then they were saved. What I was doing before was just opening the report and editing to print and saved it but it doesn’t save it that way.

How do I read something on the web about you doing something when you leave no clue as to where that is. Please provide a link as I have little patience to try searching everything.

Also, if you are posting the same questions on multiple sites (as it appears) it is proper you provide each site with a link to the other noting the cross posting of the question. This will save duplicate effort.

There is nothing wrong with cross posting. Not notifying is bad manners and can get you blocked on some sites.

I should have said that when I did a search on web it brought up an old answer from here, sorry for my mistake new at this. you can close this I tried but it won’t let me without 20 points.
