I have a document with a lot of Tables. I would like to add in the Annex section a mirror copy of each Table content including its caption. The mirror copy would be linked to the original and get updated when the main text gets updated.
It is somehow similar to the insertion of “Indexes/Tables” but where the Table content would be showed along with its caption and on which page it is.

You can put the table into a section - only the table not the caption of the table. In the Annex you add another section, which is linked to this section and is write protected. The content is then updated, when you use Tools > Update.
For the caption you add a reference to the table (Insert > Fields > Other > Cross-References, type Table, subtype Reference). This inserts a copy of the caption. The type ‘Table’ is available, when you have insert a caption, so that the table has got a value from the number range ‘Table’. Because the reference isn’t a own value of the number range ‘Table’, this table from the Annex will not show up in an Index of Tables. If you include the caption of the table in the section, then it generates a new value for the number range ‘Table’ and then the table from the Annex would be shown in an Index of Tables too.
Because the table in the linked section is in fact a new table, it will be count and shown as additional table in the navigator. Nevertheless it might be a solution for you.
