Correction with stable cursor in LO Writer

Hello!
Has the Libre Office got any function to disable fitting the kind and colour of the style you’ve chosen to the text given? I mean, can the cursor keep the kind and colour of the style regardless of the the text it has been put in?

I’d need this kind of function for correcting texts with a style different from the original text’s style.
Changing the style for red colour again and again is tiring and time‑consuming.

I do not understand this question. Style selection and application is based on cusor location. When editing texts, either use the Record changes function or manually apply a different charcter style to the selected (thus, presumed edited) text.
