I am using flash drives often and LibO since 2 years and never observed a problem.

Could you please provide more information?
- OS
- LibO version -details on what you did and how you did it

What is "office supply"? What is "material"? Please write more details like step-by-step. You description is way too short.

What I think he means is that he is taking his files to some place like Office Depot to be professionally printed.

They probably do not have LibreOffice on their computers, just Microsoft Office. Save your files in Microsoft compatible formats and they should be able to use them.

Are you providing the Office Depot with a PDF file to be printed? Use EDIT > Export as PDF to save to the USB stick. I have used this for both colour flyers and Books. PDF is the standard way to interchange formatted files.

Many office printers do not yet have the capability to process .odt files and this may be your problem.
