LibreOffice 7.1 Calc bug - Paste crashes LO

When using LibreOffice 7.1.0.1 Calc, using a regular spread-sheet, copying text from one cell and pasting it into another forces Calc, and LibreOffice, to shutdown. Upon restart the sheet you were working on needs to be recovered. Once recovered the original copy & past text has gone. When retrying the same procedure it always results in the same shut down behaviour.

Your post is double off-topic here. 1) This site is for questions and answers about LibreOffice usage. Yours is not even a question. Any reports should go to Bugzilla. 2) 7.1 is not an official release (still alpha or already beta? Never mind), thus, any discussion is pointless.

And, by the way, if you want to report issues, learn to do it efficiently, otherwise you will only waste time: How to Report Bugs Effectively

You know, if someone is trying to help and made a mistake the best thing to do communally is politely provide the link as to where to submit a bug report. Clearly any discussion with a person so impolite is pointless, and also erodes the community aspect that makes LibreOffice great. I suggest all others reading this post should be infused with a greater sense of camaraderie and not respond as “gabix” has to this post. I have, in the meantime reported this bug in the appropriate place.

  1. Do not answer your own question unless it is a real answer, and yours is not.
  2. Posting an off-topic non-question and then a bullshit non-answer is something very far from trying to help. Better read how to use this site (a link is on the right-hand part of the start page).

Hi Gabix, So I would say two things:

  1. Do not answer your own question unless it is a real answer, and yours is not.
  2. Posting an off-topic non-question, such as this, and then a bullshit non-answer is something very far from trying to help. That makes you a fool.
