Opening Lotus Word Pro files. LibreOffice 7.0.4.2, build dcf040e67528d9187c66b2379df5ea4407429775 Windoze 10, 64bit. Some LWP files open just fine. Go to a different folder... I get the "General input/output error" when opening LWP files. Yet, in the same folder, the WSM files open just fine (created while I used OS/2 OS). I tried changing the filename so it is just alphanumerics ... no effect. Move the file to another folder ... no help. Is it possible that this file and EVERY LWP file in the original folder got corrupted? I could see just one file --- or I could see every file (including the WSM files), but just the LWP files in this folder. Could it be the VERSION of Lotus Word Pro that was used to create the file is older and is not supported here? I mean, these files all date back into the 1990s and we possibly also created while using the OS/2 OS.

Have the files Read/Write properties? I have had problems opening .lwp files with LibO 6.2 / Linux Eng-GB because I have not had correct properties. Copied to new folder, changed propertiies and all was well. .lwp year 2005 vintage.
