I have a column with numbers an d text.
I would like to sort my CALC file on that column.
BUT ... after sort:

Finally aa ac tg rf ...
I would like to see 1 2 3 4 5 … 9 10 11 … 19 20 21 … 29 30 … aa ac tg rf
How can I accomplish that ?

Activate Enable natural sort in the Options tab.

'SORT OPTIONS" is a wonderful resource … Thanks.
'Natural Sort" was enables, but the sort was the same; 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 33, 45 … aa, ac, dc, frt …
Any other ideas?

So what is your actual data? I cannot see that problem that you described initially, where 2 followed 19, here in your last reply; and what you wrote looks perfect - each number goes after smaller number, non-numbers follow numbers. What is wrong here?
And also - what you wrote is not answering your question, so should not be an answer. Re-write it as a comment to the answer that didn’t work for you.
would prefer; 1, 2, 3, 4, …
Rather than; 1, 10, 100, … 2, 20, 200 … a, b, c, …
Natural sort does not solve the problem.
