How can I remove warning arrow when cell content is wider than cell width?

Hi,

I’m running LibreOffice 6.1.2.1 on a Mac.

In spreadsheets, if the content that I have added to a cell exceeds the width of the cell - and if the adjacent cell on the right has content - there is a little right-pointing arrow for the “offending” cell. I would like to get rid of those warning arrows, but have searched through formatting options and have not found a setting that I can tweak.

The attached screenshot shows the arrows. I’m pretty sure their existence is fairly new, and I would greatly appreciate help in figuring out how to get rid of them!

Hi, in Windows we have the option - Calc - View - Text overflow. Here you can hide the triangles.

On macOS it is LibreOffice -> Preferences -> LibreOffice Calc -> View -> Option: [ ] Text overflow, which needs to be deactivated.

Thank you - that took care of the issue. It never occurred to me to check that path for options that I could tweak! I appreciate the speedy help.
