Want to raise this issue here before reporting a bug as it may be the old version of Firefox (v20.0) I am using on this machine that is causing the issue. When I click on the "activity" link in my profile I see:

activity entry in AskLO profile

The pale green rectangle indicates the limit of the typical page content i.e., <div class="content-wrapper"> and <div id="ContentFull"> which are set to 960px. The <table class="user-activity"> element is set to 100% and within this the three components are set to:

  • <td class="timestamp"> 80px.
  • <td class="action-type"> 150px.
  • <td class="description"> auto.

Given both the primary content containers have a fixed width, I am wondering if the "auto" setting on the description is not the cause (it may as well be a fixed width). In any case it would be good if others could confirm this behaviour under various OSs / browsers so I know it is not something at my end.

I can confirm this behavior (for your activity entries) with:
Firefox 26.0
SeaMonkey 2.32
Opera 19.0
Comodo Dragon 31.1
Google Chrome 32.0
Internet Explorer 11.0
(all on Windows 7).

The "culprit" is an image in this question. (See also @kapitanluffy's profile.)
Another "culprit" here for a similar behavior in @mariosv's activity entries, too.
That behaviour is caused apparently by all uploaded images, which are shown with a horizontal scroll bar.

...and now, after this update, you can see it also in my profile. ;)

Hi @oweng@manj_k, it's the first time that a take a look to my activity. Seems the issue is that the paragraph are not adapted to the window width, but it the window is wide enough I can see the all paragraph. (FF26.0Win7x64)

And what seems strange, I need more width to see well the @oweng activity than mine.

@manj_k and @mariosv, thanks for the update. It would seem then to be a similar issue to that which I raised about images in questions / answers? I can't find a related AskBot Q/A relating to this so willhave raised a new one, rather than an AskLO bug. Not a big issue, I just wondered why it was happening. I completely forgot about images.
