Form with Table, Default Date isn't recognized, uses Min Date

The Table on this form has a field to contain a transaction date. I have the Min and Max dates set (01/01/2017 & 12/31/2200), and the Default date set to 01/01/2021. When entering a transaction entry, the date populates to Min Date instead of Default. Any ideas of what I may have missed?
