Hi H I am trying to download LibreOffice more the one`s but the link just does nothing and the program is not downloading at all… It on windows-64bit

I had the program on once before but then my computer was damage and I lost all.

Thanks

That sounds like a Windows issue. Have a look on Microsoft answers at Why can’t I download programs in Windows 10?.

Probably Windows Defender Security Center. Open App & browser control. Set ‘Check apps & files’ to off

I think the comment is the answer but you might need the next steps also:

That sounds like a Windows issue. Have a look on Microsoft answers at [Why can't I download programs in Windows 10?](https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-desktop/why-cant-i-download-programs-in-windows-10/55187660-7d07-4b79-bf73-8ccecd802620).

Probably *Windows Defender Security Center. Open App & browser control. Set 'Check apps & files' to off*

You might then not be able to install.

  1. Navigate to **Start Menu > Settings

Apps > Apps & Features**, under Choose where to get apps in the drop down box select Anywhere.

  2. Disable Defender while you install LibreOffice, see General Installation Issues (Windows)

When you have installed LibreOffice you will need to add LO to the list of allowed apps in Defender:

  1. Open the Windows Security by
selecting the shield icon in the
task bar or searching the start menu
    for Defender.
  2. Select the Virus & threat
    protection
    tile (or the shield
icon on the left menu bar) and then
    select Ransomware protection.
  3. Under the Controlled folder
    access
    section, select Allow an
    app through Controlled folder
    access
  4. Select Add an allowed app and
follow the prompts to add apps. You
    need to allow access to
    soffice.bin

If all these steps sound daunting, or you have Windows 10S and you don’t want to upgrade, you can download and install a modified version of LibreOffice found on Microsoft Store but Microsoft will charge a fee. Cheers, Al
