How do I rectify a rogue change in my spreadsheet cell size

Out of the blue Spreadsheets are opening with, at least, double-sized cells. However, when I type in - and I am using size 10 print - each cell automatically doubles in size vertically and the characters come out very large. I have uninstalled Libra and have reinstalled it but have the same problem. Can anyone advise?
Thanks

Test (this is not a solution) whether LibreOffice user profile is causing the issue:

  • Start LibreOffice
  • Restart in Safe Mode using Help -> Restart in Safe Mode and confirm the restart using button: Restart
  • Click button Continue in Safe Mode
  • Open a file (using File -> Open) and test whether the problem is gone
  • Provide feedback using add a comment about the test result.

If the problem is gone while running in LibreOffice **Safe Mode**, most probably your user profile is corrupt and you need to reset to factory settings (could be also done via `Help -> Restart in Safe Mode`; carefully read the option in the dialog appearing when starting safe mode)

If the font size box says 10pt but everything on screen is bigger it could be a zoom setting. Click View > Zoom > 100%

If oversize happens in other applications too then it is likely an operating system Accessibility setting. As you have written Libra, I’m guessing that you have Windows 10.

Click Start menu > Settings > Ease of Access > Display, under Make text bigger the slider is normally all the way to the left (smallest). Under Make everything bigger the percentage with (recommended) beside it is a good option, otherwise try 100%.

Hi, Thanks for your advice but the situation was rectified by changing zoom from 100 to 50 and then back to 100%, All seems pretty well ok now but I thank you for your time. Regards

Hi, I did what you said and Zoom was on 100. I changed it to back to 50 and that was perfect I then changed it back to 100% and it now seems to be working ok, Very simple solution and I thank you very much and hope I haven’t wasted your time.
