os-x "image export dialog" not activating

First of all I suspect my problem is peculiar to Apple, in my case OS-X 10.11.6, this is my second question in Chapter 11 where things don't work as illustrated. In the LibreOffice 6.4 manual p. 239 it makes reference to exporting images with a procedure involving the context menu (properties?) and a Save command there that opens up the "image export dialog". No Save command is there that supposedly triggers this dialog. If I use the "expand icon" (the three little horizontal lines) to open the Image options box, no Save or export option is presented. If I use the apple "control+click" nothing different is presented. File>Export tries to export the entire manuscript, not the image.

This is just the answer to the last part of your question:

File>Export tries to export the entire manuscript, not the image.

Do it as you can see in the picture below

Thanks, It doesn't look like an Apple menu, but it seems like it would work for us.
