When I open by LibreOffice Writer document it is converted to Microsoft Word. How do I stop it from doing that?
It isn’t converted to Microsoft Word; rather Windows has set the file association for Writer document files to show MS Word as the program used by default to open such files. If this has recently happened - your documents used to show LO Writer icon, then a Windows update has reset the file associations to help you. See Setting the default program to open files for information on how to change the defaults.
