Cell borders don't show

Hello.
Something very strange has happened.
When I’m in a Calc spreadsheet and highlight a cell, using mouse click or move around with cursor keys, the highlighted cell shows no longer it’s border.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think I know what’s going on as I once have programmed some kind of spreadsheet myself, using the same technique.
I think the ‘cursor cell’ is some ‘input box’ that can move about in the spreadsheet, positioning itself using the coordinates and content of the cell that it covers.
Now what I can see is, that this input box’s width an height are suddenly 1 or 2 pixels larger than those of the cell it covers. Thus obliterating the borderlines of the cell beneath.
Has anyone come across this problem and if so, any solution?

Are you using some personalized colors?

Look at menu Tools - Options… - LibreOffice - View, below Graphics Output if OpenGL is checked or not.

I haven’t changed anything since I installed and personalised LibreOffice last year and I haven’t modified anything ever since.
This just has happened I think 3 or 4 weeks ago and it won’t go away.
In the screenshots you can clearly see that the ‘Cursor Cell’ is larger than the ‘normal’ spreadsheet cell. I made one special with cell borders set to ‘Black’ and one cell with background yellow.

C:\fakepath\Cells2.png contains only 1 pixel.

Can you share your LibreOffice version and operating system? To do that, choose menu Help - About LibreOffice and copy from there. Click edit (below your question) to add more information.

The problem is that the active cell borders have switched to white instead of black.

Try to reset your LibreOffice user profile (rename it).

If no change, then it may be a system issue. Anything strange in Writer (cursor color for example)?
