libreoffice writer crashes on start windows
Should there be punctuation in this statement? What version of Windows (click Start menu > Settings > System > About)? What anti-virus are you using?
Without further information given I can only suggest going to Control Panel > Programs & Features, right click on LibreOffice and from the context menu select Repair*
I’d ask:
- Do mean: “When starting LibreOffice and opening a file, Windows shows a blue screen and crashes”
- Do you have a Kyocera printer?
- Did you update Windows on March 9, 2021 for the last time?
If the answers are “yes” - immediately install all latest Windows updates.
Try to reset your LibreOffice user profile (rename it).
If no change, make sure the antivirus is not blocking LO, see: Defender Controlled folder access exception for LibreOffice.
If no change, please give more details.
